This week Lee County Youth Council put on 15 Acts of Kindness. Each morning students heard a motivational quote over the announcements. Such as, “A warm smile is the universal language of kindness” ~Anonymous.
The point of this exercise was so that students could do something kind to someone else. Youth Council made a bulletin board in the lunchroom that said,” Hey I just met you and this is crazy, but here’s an act of kindness so take one maybe,” and underneath were neon colored envelopes that had different slips of paper in them that had a random act of kindness. 
Corresponding with 15 acts of kindness was backpack blessing. Backpack blessing was a fundraiser that donates all the money to children in need who do not have food. Youth Council decided to have a competition between pride time (fourth period) classes.
15 acts of kindness was a great success and helped many people.
